Sharif Osman Hadi Dies While Undergoing Treatment in Singapore
Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Moncho, has passed away while undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital (Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un).
A Foreign Ministry official involved in Sharif Osman Hadi’s medical care in Singapore confirmed the matter to Prothom Alo at around 10:00 pm on Thursday.
The news of his death was also announced through the official Facebook page of Inqilab Moncho.
Earlier, on Wednesday, the Chief Adviser’s press wing had stated that the condition of Sharif Osman Hadi, who had sustained gunshot injuries, was extremely critical. Following that announcement, widespread concern grew over his health condition, with many well-wishers, political activists, and social media users expressing prayers and solidarity for his recovery.
Sharif Osman Hadi had been receiving advanced medical treatment in Singapore due to the severity of his injuries. Despite efforts by medical professionals, he succumbed to his condition late Thursday night.
Further details regarding his funeral arrangements and official programmes are expected to be announced by Inqilab Moncho later.
